Wright & Morten is a high quality veterinary practice based in Macclesfield Cheshire.
We have three dedicated teams of vets, covering our three separate
departments - companion animal, farm animal and equine. The Small
Animal Hospital is based in Macclesfield, with branch surgeries in Congleton and Wilmslow.
The practice deals with most species of domestic and
farm animals. There are 15 vets in total, each having
different specialist interests and skills, offering a
breadth of expertise and knowledge. Our Macclesfield
premises include a veterinary hospital, offering a
guaranteed high level of facilities and services.
The equine branch of the practice treats horses and
ponies throughout North-east Cheshire, South
Manchester, Derbyshire and North Staffordshire areas.
We have our own dedicated surgical/hospitalisation
facilities for most routine surgery and procedures.
All farm species are treated - cows, pigs, sheep, dairy
and fibre goats, along with their pet equivalents and
more exotic species such as alpacas.
A quality service
needs quality staff. The practice places great
emphasis on training and education, with all staff
attending regular courses, tutorials, and conferences.
The Macclesfield practice is a registered veterinary
nurse training centre.
Our commitment to our staff is demonstrated by the
recent 'Investors in People' status, awarded in Nov
1999, and again in 2005. We are also an RCVS accredited practice on
both the Small Animal and Equine sides of the practice.
